First ever trailer of Halo Legends, the series of seven short animated films based on the Halo franchise, has surfaced. The series is in development at 5 different big name animation studios in Japan. These include Toei Animation (who have worked on popular franchises like the Dragon Ball series, Transformers, X-Men, Spider-Man, TMNT, Superman and many more), and Studio 4°C (known for Linkin Park’s Breaking the Habit music video, The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Transformers Animated).
Other studios include Bones, Production I.G, and Casio Entertainment. Warner Bros would be distributing the series on DVD and Blu-ray in early 2010, while the series would be previewed on the new Halo Waypoint on Xbox Live.
Peter Jackson is said to be involved in the project, though I don’t know to what extent. There’s still no word about the Halo movie he was working on. Anyways for now, here’s the first Exclusive trailer in HD:
