An Open Letter Song for Lilly Allen addressing Piracy
by Uzair Sajid on September 26, 2009, under General, News
Okay most of you would be wondering why I write about piracy so much? Well the answer is really complicated and I’d address the issue at some later time. But for now, lets just enjoy this song by Dan Bull – a UK based musician, file sharer and fan of Lilly Allen.
The song is actually an open letter to Lilly Allen discussing her recent streak against File Sharers and Piracy as a whole, supporting the recent Anti-piracy efforts by various organizations. Even though the theme is serious, the song is quite amusing and I thought it would be fun to ‘share’. Jump on after the break to watch the video.
Send your name to MARS via NASA
by Uzair Sajid on July 25, 2009, under General
Ever wanted to set foot on the red planet? Well here is your chance, at least for your name anyways. NASA is offering us a chance to send our name to MARS via its Mars Science Laboratory Rover, which is scheduled to leave for the planet between October and December of 2011.
To sign up simply head over to NASA’s website and fill in this form. You also get a cool certificate you can print out to show off that you were a part of human history and its inevitable clash with the Covenant. Now excuse me while I try to hotwire my Red Bull powered tricycle and try to make another jump to Jupiter. Oo Yeah!
Introducing The Technopath
by Uzair Sajid on February 3, 2009, under Featured, General
I’ve been working on this idea for quite some time now, about 4 months to be exact. I have been blogging for a while now, and I am earning a quite steadily too. But I wanted to experiment more, and try out something new with a different perspective. And that’s why I started working out on The Technopath project.
The Technopath will not just be a blog, rather it would be a whole portal based on some well established technologies today. The back-end will be running on Wordpress no doubt, but I will also be adding custom functionality, to give this site a rich user experience. As the name implies, this site would revolve around the world of technology because this is what interests me, and more importantly, this is something I can share most knowledge on. I would however like to point out, that I won’t be following the general blogging approach here. In fact I am going to experiment something totally different and try to introduce interactivity into the content.
