Enable Push Gmail on your iPhone and Windows Mobile Phone

Google has finally added support for Email in their Exchange Sync platform for mobiles – though it only works for the iPhone OS and Windows Mobile devices with ActiveSync. Nokia Series60 users shouldn’t be concerned because they already had support for Push Email via Nokia Messaging application, which is faster than Google Sync as far as my experience goes.

by Uzair Sajid on July 31, 2009, under Apple
Seems like the iPhone might just have gotten a bit more secure for daily use thanks to a quick update that addresses the SMS Vulnerability which may allow an attacker to launch any piece of code including a DDoS attack which may lead to a disaster! Ah well Apple ruined all the fun and fixed the thing.
[WTF] One of the Greatest Games of All Time was supposed to be released on… a MAC???!!!
by Uzair Sajid on July 20, 2009, under Apple, Microsoft, Video
Shocked. Confused. Speachless and all those things. Those are my reactions right now, as I just found out that one of the Most Important games of All Time was actually going to be a Mac Exclusive title – which Steve Jobs himself unveiled and claimed would revolutionize gaming. The Macworld 99 video is after the break.
AppleInsider are after all – fanboys
by Uzair Sajid on July 17, 2009, under Apple, Microsoft
Let me clear the air here first. I’ve been a long term reader and fan of AppleInsider, but their unjust hatred for Microsoft has started to get on my nerves. I mean just what were they trying to prove here? Bing and Safari aren’t even in the same product line – comparing their market share is just plain idiotic in my opinion.
Laptop Hunters killing Apple’s Image
by Uzair Sajid on July 17, 2009, under Apple, Microsoft
An interesting thing I found out today was the fact that Microsoft’s Laptop Hunter ads have got so effective that Apple’s lawyers have begged Microsoft to stop running them. And this information was shared by non other than Microsoft’s Chief Operating Officer Kevin Turner said during his Worldwide Partner Conference Keynote in New Orleans.
Apple clearly has been affected by the latest Laptop Hunters and Rookies ad campaigns. They are cutting prices, revising designs and even trying out a couple of new Get a Mac commercials, which still don’t get the job done.
